The Beginning
Project Limestone started with a casual conversation- Antoan expressed to his cousin Taige how heartbreaking it was to hear that young people and their families were making life changing decisions about their futures, with limited resources and information.
Antoan left that conversation compelled to create a platform that encourages young people to chase their passions and pursue their wildest dreams. Project Limestone is designed to be a positive and self-exploratory environment, while empowering students to see their aspirations through.
The Name
The Islands of The Bahamas rests on a plateau of limestone. Limestone rock is made of diverse elements, that together are strong and resilient.
We knew that we wanted our organization to embody similar characteristics, and to be honest, it seemed like fate! We want to initiate a culture where young people know that together we are stronger than we can ever be alone.
